More About Bullnose/Starter Clips for ProDeck
Bullnose/Starter Clips are crafted from precision-cut stainless steel, ensuring a durable and long-lasting installation. They provide a secure and accurate fit for ProDeck (and our trade-only VersaDeck) Decking Boards and Bullnose Boards.
Designed for a precise and secure fit, these Clips help keep Capped Composite Bullnose Boards firmly in place. They can be used to achieve either an overhanging or flush edge on Decking borders and steps.
Additionally, they serve as an anchor at the start of a wall-to-wall Decking installation by securely holding the first Board before adding more.
For optimal installation with ProDeck Bullnose Boards, it is advised to use 26 Clips per Board, spaced approximately 28cm apart (in two rows). This ensures a strong, secure hold while minimising the risk of Board movement or lifting.
When using the Clips as Starter Clips for the first Board, we recommend placing one Clip per joist within the decking frame.
