About our Composite Wall Cladding Starter Strip
Before using Cladco Composite Cladding Boards, you’ll need to make sure your project is level and that’s where Wall Cladding Starter Strips come in use, ensuring boards are installed neatly onto a building’s exterior.
Designed using tough precision-made galvanised steel, each Cladding Starter Strip has increased corrosion and wear resistance from the elements, to last over time.
Measuring 3m in length, 50mm high and 10mm deep, our Wall Cladding Starter Strips are the best way to start your cladding project.

To install, attach the Wall Cladding Starter Strip to the bottom of each composite batten installed onto your exterior wall, and then slot the first cladding board into place.
You’ll need to leave a minimum 15mm gap between the floor and the Starter Strip so that cladding boards do not touch the floor. You will also need to ensure the Starter Strip is perfectly level before installing any boards.
