An Aluminium Perforated Closure Trim is an essential element for installing Cladco Fibre Cement Wall Cladding Boards or Composite Wall Cladding. Designed with small holes, Perforated Closure Trims encourage airflow and ventilation whilst preventing small animals, insects and debris from entering.
Ventilation gaps within the Closure Trims, paired with the 50mm space between the battens and boards, work together to ensure your building has adequate airflow to prevent moisture from building up.
Cladco Aluminium Perforated Closure Trims are manufactured using corrosion-resistant, durable, aluminium for superior strength and long-lasting protection. Perforated Closures are supplied in 3m lengths with a 40mm width.

Cladco Perforated Closures are an essential aspect of a Fibre Cement Cladding project, or Composite Wall Cladding. Simply attach the Closures to the base of your project before installing the first board. Please note: It is recommended to leave a gap of 10mm between the Perforated Closure and the base of your installation, to ensure a necessary gap for airflow. The Perforated Closure needs to be perfectly level before fixing to the wall, as a Start Profile Trim will be fixed to the Perforated Closure. If your Perforated Closure is not fitted parallel, you may be at risk of unlevel cladding.
