Before starting on your Fibre Cement Wall Cladding installation, ensure all necessary parts have been acquired. Cladco Fibre Cement Wall Cladding Starter Strip is an essential component for your Wall Cladding project.
When Cladding your home, you want to make sure all the Boards are installed level. With the Cladco Fibre Cement Wall Cladding Starter Strips, your Boards should be supported and aligned throughout your installation.
Cladco Aluminum Starter Strip is designed to sit at a slight angle, assisting the attractive feather boarding installation technique, as well as providing the stand and support for the first Board to be fitted onto the structural Battens
Cladco Fibre Cement Wall Cladding Starter Strip should be installed at the building base, and above any doors or windows, the Starter Strip must be installed above the Perforated Closure, with a 38mm Screw.
The Perforated Closure is used to encourage airflow, prevent moisture build-up, prevent debris and insect build-up behind the Fibre Cement Wall Cladding Boards. Installing the Starter Strip over the Closure allows the Closure and the Starter Strip to work efficiently.
Cladco Fibre Cement Wall Cladding Starter Strip is available in a range of eight colours, manufactured to match the colour of your Cladco Fibre Cement Wall Cladding Boards for an attractive and seamless design.
The Starter Strips do not require any staining or painting, the low-maintenance Trims simply need to be installed securely following the installation guide here.
Cladco Trims are manufactured onsite using high-quality aluminium for a stain, rust and corrosion resistant product.
