This Cutting-Edge Self-Build project has been constructed with Cladco Roofing Sheets and Composite Cladding Boards | The Spinney
This striking self-build has used Cladco Composite Wall Cladding Boards and Cladco Roofing Sheets as both wall Cladding and Roofing materials on this secluded home.
We take a look at the multiple benefits of both Cladco Roofing and Cladco Composite Cladding products and how they work so well as part of this one-of-a-kind design.
Cladco Woodgrain Composite Wall Cladding Boards in Charcoal have been installed vertically over one-half of The Spinney, to recreate the look of traditional wooden cladding whilst visually elongating the stature of the build. The traditional Woodgrain finish of the Composite Boards brings a conventional touch to an otherwise modernistic project, as well as being easy to install, environmentally friendly and low-maintenance.
The other half of the project has used Cladco 32/1000 Box Profile Roof Sheets with a Black PVC Plastisol Coating as both Roofing and side wall Cladding.
Cladco Box Profile Sheets are lightweight and easy to install, making them the perfect choice for such a large-scale project. The PVC Plastisol Coating adds a high level of scratch resistance and can extend the lifespan of the sheets by up to 40 years in a normal environment.
The dark and inky hues of Cladco Black Roof Sheets and Charcoal Composite Wall Cladding work together to create an element of mystery to the property, which is hidden among Devon woodlands. Despite the modern and industrial-like feel to the project with its metal mesh balustrades installed on the balcony, homely finishing touches have been added in the form of a welcoming porch boot room and small outside seating area. The entire project is surrounded by various floral hanging baskets, blossoming trees, and climbing plants - all of which bring character and a lived-in feel to The Spinney as a home.
