What are Millboard® Cladding Aluminium Horizontal Starter Trims used for?
Millboard® Cladding Aluminium Horizontal Starter Trims are used to provide a precise and accurate fixing for your Millboard Cladding Boards, including the Envello Shadow Line+ and Board & Batten+ ranges.
These Cladding Starter Trims are to be used when installing your Cladding Boards horizontally onto your building. Made from aluminium, these Trims provide a robust and hardwearing starting point for your cladding.
Millboard® Horizontal Starter trims are installed at the bottom of the battens on your wall to create unity between Cladding Boards, guaranteeing a level and straight finish.
It's crucial that the Starter Trims are fitted level to ensure your cladding project is in line and accurate. Using this method will enhance the aesthetics of your cladding project and increase the structural integrity of your installation.
Please note that the end of the Cladding Board will be lower than the Starter Trim, so take this into consideration when setting the height of the Trim.
